Right now, we are going to be focusing our attention on one of the members of Blackpink, the maknae or youngest of the group, Lisa!
With growing rising popularity, Lisa currently has at least 40 million followers on Instagram making her the Blackpink member to have the most followers. And we can’t blame them! Lisa just knows how to capture the hearts of many with her adorable upbringing and unique sense of style.
As you already know, Lisa, or known in real life as Lalisa Manoban, is a rapper and the main dancer of the girl group. With her intense dance routines, you can’t help but fall in love with her striking charms and fierce charisma on stage (yes, I am Lisa-biased). And if you’re here because you want to learn some tips on how to dress like Lisa, then you’re in luck as I will be explaining to you Lisa’s style of dressing up in different ways.
First, let us describe what is Lisa’s general personal choice of style when it comes to fashion. Just like what we did we Jennie’s fashion analysis, we will be talking mostly about Lisa’s casual fashion that we often see her in, and we see these outfits mostly on Instagram as the platform itself is personal unlike that of the airport fashion styles (though, having those isn’t that bad either. But, let’s just focus our analysis mostly on Lisa’s style that she shows to us through her Instagram account).
If you scan through Lisa’s Instagram feed, you might feel intimidated by the number of fierce elements that it has, especially now that they just freshly released their new full album. And as you can tell at a single glance, the feed itself oozes out Lisa’s stage style - the fierce and charismatic idol. This also doesn’t come as surprise considering that she is the main dancer of the group and most of the time, the main dancers are filled with overwhelming charisma that is not only felt by the way they dance but also by the way they dress.
And while I mentioned that we will be mentioning the styles that Lisa uses on her casual days, I am not also dismissing the idea of talking about her on-stage outfits. After all, Lisa loves to combine her in-real-life outfits to her line of work, making her personality peep out even when they’re performing on stage.
But, if I were to describe her overall fashion sense, I would say that she loves going for grunge-inspired outfits and some girl-next-door fashion. Basically, she loves going for the extremes of both ends, and she still nails both styles! Talk about a fashion queen!
So how does one exactly dress like Lisa? We’re about to find out!
An all-out denim and pants lover
Lisa really loves to use denim on her everyday casual outfits, and we can't blame her! With a figure like hers (I looooove her body measurements), she can't help but look good on fits when she wears leg-hugging denim pants. She loves using high-waisted denim pants whenever she goes out, heck, she even went to Hedi Slimane’s Spring/Summer 2019 Celine Show in denim pants! But that doesn’t mean she was less fashionable, in fact, she even got the crowds' attention to her!
But how’d she normally wear denim pants?
Just like the photo from the top, she wore her denims with a pair of knee-high boots and a simple tee with a black, sequin layer to top her tee with. Aside from the sequin layer as an attraction piece, her small, red purse adds attention to her whole outfit.
Wearing denim doesn't have to be boring, and Lisa proves that! Here we can see how she styled her denim with the rest of her clothing items - with a long sleeved top, she wore these pants with a pair of Adidas Smith's (just like everyone else, almost!) and a cute red bag that adds a pop of color on her outfit.
Another way of using denim (Lisa style!) is by using a cute crop top while wearing a midriff denim pants. Now ain't that cute.
Well, aside from denim, she just likes using pants in general...
Lisa with sunflowers? Yes! And make it better, in cargo pants!
We can also see her in a lot of instances where she sports a pair of cargo pants. If you see some of her dance practice routines, you know that one video where she wore cargo pants? Yeah, I loved that one.
Cool chic.
For her cargo pants, she wore it with some military boots and an asymmetrical top that has long sleeve on the left arm. To top all of the outfit, she wore a black cap that adds edge to the whole fit.
And if you're thinking you can sport the same denim and pants outfits that Lisa can, you definitely can! Most especially if you almost have the same body figure as her, you can't help but follow her fashion ways.
Bags, Bags, Bags
You might have not noticed this, but Lisa loves using bags. And judging from the first two photos that we shared on this blog, you can already tell that she won't pass out the opportunity to slay a purse on her outfit. Here are some ways on how she does that.
Now this time, we see her using a black handbag. She used this on a couple of occasions and we can't help but want to have a bag like that to ourselves, too. Elegant, sophisticated, mwuah! Chef's Kiss!
And if you noticed, Lisa's casual outfit has been leveled up simply by bringing this cute handbag that doubles as a body bag. And just like for occasions that you want to look a bit more sophisticated and smart for casual walks, bringing with you a well-structured handbag is your way to go.
She likes sportswear, too!
Just like Jennie, Lisa doesn't pass the opportunity to wear sportswear on her daily fashion. Being an endorser of the big sports brand Adidas might be one of the reasons, but we still see her sporting other brands on her feed, too!

Wearing sportswear while rocking an intense makeup look suits Lisa's so much. And just like her, you can wear sportswear this way, too! Wearing eye makeup that flatters your eye shape can be a fashion item in it's own right. Pairing it with your nice sportswear outfit and you are ready to go to that casual night walk with your friends.
Crop tops are staples
Probably almost all girls that I know owns a crop top. Can't blame them though, it's easy to style and it also comes in different variants. And just like Lisa, she just can't shy away from the adorable fits that crop tops give her.
Pairing her black crop top with a nice pair of denim pants with some white and brown loafers. And of course, a small purse to complete the overall outfit. She added in some subtle accessories such as that gold necklace that she is wearing.
I mentioned earlier that Lisa's style gives off some girl-next-door vibes and here's an example to that! Wearing a gingham-patterned top that holds along the top torso, wearing it with black denim (told you she loves denim), and accessorizing with bracelets, a watch, and a necklace. And aside from her red lips, the bag is never a miss on her wears.

Striking Elements
Most noticeable when she wears them on stage, it's easy to forget that Lisa loves to wear grunge-inspired outfits on her everyday looks. Maybe she's secretly a pop punk girl, we never know!
This looks like a simple outfit, but if you look closely, her top has some strong elements attached to it. Aside from the different graphics pressed on, there's also the unique patterns with dangling sequins that you can't help but notice. (I don't know how to describe those so let's just call it that way). And of course, the bag, never gonna forget that one.
If you don't think she's slaying this fashion style then you need to try out the grunge for yourself.
To make all these pieces go together, she makes her outfit as simple as possible due to the fact that her top already has a lot of graphical elements to it, so if layering it with other items with strong elements as well might ruin the look. Styling it with a pair of jeans, she made it looks so put together by accessorizing herself with a watch, rings and a necklace, and with a cute purse with gold elements that is coherent to her current fit.
There you have it! These are just the basics of Lisa's wardrobe that you need to have if you decide to style yourself just like her. Her style is so simple yet it also leaves a strong impression on you that you can't help but love the charisma that comes with it.
