After a long day out, especially with .demanding work, we all need to relax. But somehow, one of our definitions of relaxation, which is to go out and have a casual night with friends or co-workers, can be a difficult thing to do. So we opt to try and reenact the relaxing vibe right in the comfort of our home. We might not be able to go out and have a few drinks but it is comforting to know that there cocktails that we can make right out of our own kitchen. Even better? Kawaii cocktails you can make and customize by yourself.
I definitely have a love-hate relationship with cute food and drinks. I mean, will I ever have the decisive will and heart to drink something so pretty and cute to look at? Until now, not yet. But that doesn’t mean I don’t indulge in a cute food or two (and probably spend the next 10 minutes just looking at it or taking thousands of photos at all different angles)
But a cute drink after a tiring day and snuggled up on the bed, all warm and comfy? Definitely.
Here are 10 kawaii cocktails/mocktails you can try making at home!
Magical Color Shifting Cocktails
YouTube channel Food & Wine has discovered the cute power of what they called Butterfly Pea Flower tea. The so-called tea is mixed into the various concoctions, creating a gradient-like effect in the cocktails, which is absolutely pretty to look at.
To give you a bit of background on the Butterfly Pea Flower Tea is that is a caffeine-free herbal tea made from the infusion of flower of Clitoria ternatea plant.
This video will give you 3 simple and cute cocktails that you can definitely whipped with your eyes closed. One of the coolest thing is that this video also introduced the usage of the Butterfly Pea Flower Tea without the mixture of any alcoholic drink and just plain lemonade and it did the exact same gradient and fairy-like effect.
Look at those!! Another set of pretty color-changing cocktails. This time by the YouTube channel called Vlad SlickBartender. The main ingredient of these cocktails is the Gin Empress 1908, mixed with fruits and other ingredients. The color-changing feature is from the Gin itself which is made with a substance that allows change of color once mixed.
Mocktails Homemade Drinks
This last video will consist of Mocktails, specifically, Sprite-centered drinks, mixed with other liquids such as Gatorade and fruit syrup and expect lots and lots of different fruits to give you that fresh, fruity taste. Rather than the ingredients, it is more likely the presentation (which also plays a huge part in feeling the relaxing vibe) that really made the drinks pretty. Now, if you are up for some easyyyy mocktails you can make with ingredients from your fridge plus tips and tricks to making them look pretty, check out the video below by YouTuber, Mary's Channel.
